348 families of Barangay Poblacion 2 got their relief assistance from the City Government of Cotabato immediately after their houses were razed to the ground by a big fire on April 8.
Each family received relief goods consisting of 10 kilos of rice, 6 packs of noodles and 6 tins of sardines after a community kitchen was set up by the city's Office on Social Welfare and Development Services.The ration was just enough for the duration of the Lenten holidays following the incident.
