Tens days after the July 31 flashflood which put under water 32 out of the city’s 37 barangays, 2519 families are still in evacuation centers as of August 8.
A week of heavy rains (July 26 up to July 31) inundated almost the entire city which has also experienced last year a massive flooding caused mainly by a large accretion of water hyacinths along the piers of the Delta Bridge.
