Cotabato City’s official entry to the float design competition of the 2009 Aliwan Festival placed second in the tight race for the country’s most colorful display of craftsmanship and culture.
Called the lemba, the float consisted of an array of Magindanawn decorations most of which were hand-woven from native materials.
