POLICE rescued Thursday a 10-year-old girl who was allegedly abducted by his father at Philippine Women's College in Juna Subdivision, Matina, Davao City on October 17.
Senior Police Officer 4 Sixto Pongase, investigator of the Talomo Police Station, said the girl was rescued from the custody of his biological father in sitio New Carcar, Barangay Kalasuyan, Kidapawan City, North Cotabato, at around 3:45 p.m.
Pongase identified the suspect as Emelio (name withheld), 40, farmer, native of Banga in South Cotabato, resident of Sultan Kudarat.
