ALABEL, Sarangani (October 30, 2009) – A tribal elder pays respect to former Governor Priscilla Chiongbian, popularly known by the indigenous people as Mommy Priscy, Thursday, October 29, before a tribal ceremony of acceptance for her youngest son Roy Chiongbian as a follower of his parents in continuing the legacy of public service in the province; and the signing of the 2009 Covenant for Indigenous Peoples’ Development among the municipal chieftains and other officials of the seven municipalities.
