Thank you for joining me here today.

As you know, the province of Sarangani was established in 1992, by my parents, with Papa James Chiongbian as Congressman, and Mama Priscy Chiongbian as Governor and since then, the province has progressed.

I have been going around the municipalities and barangays and I saw the results of the projects and programs created by my parents and the need to continue and carry on their legacy.

The province has also benefited through the programs of Governor Migs Dominguez and Vice Governor Steve Solon.

I also see that there is still a lot of things to be done to improve the quality of life of our fellow Sarangans in terms of education, health, agri-development and peace and order.

I have been receiving messages and questions whether it is true that I will run for Congress in the next election.

Let me confirm to you all, right here and right now that with the help of God…

Yes… I am definitely running for Congress in Sarangani.

I will continue the legacy started by my parents and give my full support to the programs started by Governor Migs and Vice Governor Steve.

I will eventually come up with my own programs and will serve our province to the best of my ability.

Sarangani… I am Roy Chiongbian and I’m here for you!!
