September 26, 2009 - “The Bishop Ulama Conference (BUC) has been making the problem in Mindanao more complex instead of facilitating its resolution. Their efforts turned out to be meaningless; it is an insult to Bangsamoro Right to Self-determination.”
This was the comment of Anwar Upahm, National Vice President for External Affairs of the United Youth for Peace and Development (UNYPAD), right after reading the initial result of the series of “Community Dialogue and Consultation on Peace” organized by the Kunsult Mindanao, a research arm of the Bishops-Ulama Conference.
