For three months now, at least a hundred persons are still languishing at the evacuation center inside the San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish in Barangay Talomo, Davao City after their houses were washed away by the flash flood late this June. Even as the City Government of Davao have already handed P10,000 assistance, it was not enough to reconstruct their house and meet their daily needs while at the evacuation center.
