The modern one storey building sits on a 1,000 square meter lot donated by the Nasipit municipal government, jointly financed by the PNP who contributed 4.7M from its 2008 general appropriation, while the municipal government of Nasipit gave 1 million and provincial government of Agusan del Norte budgeted 500,000.
The construction of the new building started on March 2, 2009 during the incumbency of the then Caraga Police Director Police Chief Supt. Jaime Milla and constructed by Allied Trade Resources Multi-Purpose Cooperative (ALLTRADE).
The modern station building is in line with the required program in accordance with the Integrated Transformation Program (ITP) specially the Key Result Area (KRA) on the Physical Development, particularly giving emphasis on the “Quick Response” in providing the PNP of a modern Police Station.

d and highly efficient people, modern facilities, and efficient systems and procedures.
In his speech, PNP Chief Versoza said that the PNP aimed to establish model police stations per region in its effort to manifest their genuine responsiveness to the public expectation of more visible, highly efficient and trustworthy policemen in the community.
“This is a police station that we can be proud of and I am encouraging community’s participation in law enforcement,” Verzosa said in his speech.
He said, the PNP has so far established 3 model police stations and 2 tourist police offices. “We are now developing the tourist police office of Boracay and Panglao in Bohol and we are also coordinating with the San Juan, Batangas LGU for the establishment of the Philippines’ 3rd tourist police office.
The PNP has already established model police station in Marikina City and currently
developing another in Marawi City.
Versoza vowed to given top priority in terms of budget, administrative and operational support, programs and projects to police service front liners which are the more than 1,700 police stations nationwide.
Meanwhile, Police Regional Director Lino Calingasan said the PNP aims to upgrade police equipment in support to Police Field Operations. He made sure that every police officer commits himself completely to the Filipino people through maintaining peace in the streets.
Agusan del Norte Governor Erlpy John Amante during yesterday’s inauguration immediately declared Nasipit MPS as the province model police station and hopes to build similar building in Las Nieves and Jabonga.
