September 3, 2009 - (Cotabato City) The Mindanao PeaceWeavers (MPW), a big network of the Civil Society Organizations operating in Mindanao, strongly calls on the Senate not to adopt the proposed Senate Resolution 1281and it demands for the immediate resumption of the peace talks, instead.
The MPW is afraid that the senate Resolution will just produce another bloody armed conflict between the government forces and the MILF at which it is the plain civilians who will be at the receiving end of attacks.
