The DTI –Caraga Regional and Provincial offices handled 91 and resolved 86 cases within the same period.
Butuan City-Agusan del Norte maintains 40 CWD’s, 16 in Agusan del Sur, 39 Surigao del Norte and 42 in Surigao del Sur.
The CWDs are established, strengthened and maintained by the Department of Trade and Industry to ensure good customer care.
They allow dissatisfied customers to immediately find redress on a complaint for a product or service at the store itself without elevating such complaint to DTI.
CWD’s also ensure that complaining customers are well-taken cared of by the establishment through simple, clear and convenient procedures.
Trainings and Seminars are conducted from time to time by the DTI among CWDs to improve staff skills in handling complaints courteously and fairly.
