July 26, 2009 - The Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) has finally issued an official declaration for the suspension of military activities (SOMA) effective yesterday, July 25, in response to earlier similar declaration issued by the Arroyo administration. The declaration, General Order No. 003/09/A, was signed by Al Haj Murad Ebrahim, chairman of the MILF and commander in chief of the Bangsamoro Islamic Armed Forces (BIAF).
