July 19, 2009 - North Cotabato vice governor Emmanuel Piňol continued to oppose the Memorandum of Agreement on Ancestral Domain (MOA-AD) by organizing fora or dialogues in various schools and colleges in the province denouncing it as a divisive tool and would create a new safe haven for “corruption”.
On July 16, 2009, Piñol sponsored a Multi-Sectoral Consultation Dialogue on MOA-AD and GRP-MILF Peace Process at the University of Southern Mindanao (USM) in Kabacan, this province.
