July 15, 2009 – The Government of the Republic of the Philippines (GRP) already spent around US$10 million, or nearly half a billion in Philippine peso, for various humanitarian assistance since the fighting started August last year.
This was the disclosure of Secretary Esperanza Cabral of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) – Central Office in Manila, as quoted in various news outfits yesterday.
