July 15, 2009 - The Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) has hailed the decision of the United Nations World Food Programme (UNWFP) to resume delivery of food aid to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) or evacuees in Mindanao, after halting it temporarily because of a spate of deadly bombings that rocked the region recently.Al Haj Murad Ebrahim, chairperson of the MILF, told Maradika that the resumption of the food aid is a very welcome development and offered a ray of hope to the evacuees who can hardly eat twice a day.
