July 9, 2009 - A ranking member of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) has cautioned Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita in making hasty and nasty statement accusing the MILF of being behind the series of bombings in Mindanao that killed 12 persons and wounding 90 others.
Asked to react, Khaled Musa told www.luwaran.com “It looks like Secretary Ermita is back to his old trick of fooling around with facts on the ground just to muddle the issues in the Mindanao situation.” When pressed on to elaborate, the MILF deputy chair on information said that the aging general-turned-politician from Batangas sounds more like becoming “a vanguard of the spoilers bent on blaming every bombing incident on the MILF.”
