July 7, 2009 – Jeffrey Sayre, the one year-old baby that was severely wounded by shrapnel from the powerful bomb blast in Cotabato City this Sunday, died last night at the Intensive Care Unit of the Cotabato Regional and Medical Center in Cotabato City.
Sayre, youngest among the 55 victims of the bomb blast from an improvised explosive device (IED), allegedly fashioned from command-detonated 81mm mortar, was the sixth recorded fatality.
