A survivor of the indiscriminate shelling of artillery by the Armed Forces Philippines (AFP) last June 24, 2009 (Wednesday) was in tears in calling for a stop to the war in Mindanao and military operations in Maguindanao that had particularly wreck unspeakable havoc on civilian lives, liberties and properties.
She made her appeal when interviewed in television news by ABS-CBN News Team in Central Mindanao yesterday. “The war must stop, civilians had been suffering and we are not safe with the ongoing military operations. We cannot bear this war anymore,” she said in Tagalog.
