Relentless indiscriminate firing of artillery by the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) beginning at dusk yesterday triggered skirmishes with the Moro Islamic Liberation Front freedom fighters.
Heavy artillery shelling from AFP detachments in the municipalities of Talayan, Guindulungan, Datu Saudi, Shariff Aguak and Datu Piang to indiscriminate directions that hit civilian areas started at 6pm.
