The leadership of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) has appealed to leaders of the province of Sulu for calm and sobriety in the midst of a tense situation as a result of the attempted assassination of Sulu Governor Abdusakur Tan last May 13.
“We send to you our appeal for calm and sobriety and with prayers that this problem be resolved through the spirit of brotherhood and pacific ways provided by our religion Islam,” Muhammad Ameen, chairperson of the MILF Secretariat, said in an interview with www.luwaran.com today.
