The Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) has rebuffed Lt. Col. Jonathan Ponce, spokesman of the Army 6th Infantry Division, for deliberate distortion of facts when he accused the Front as responsible for the ambush of three Moros at sitio Malibacao, Romongaob, South Upi on June 15.
Khaled Musa, deputy chairman of the MILF committee on information, told www.luwaran.com that MILF mujahideen can never undertake the ambush, saying that some if not all of the victims were related to the late Sheikh Abukhalil Yahya (true name: Abdulrahman Campong) who was a senior member of the MILF central committee.
