Roger Navarro, chairman of the Chamber of Agri-based and Food Industries in Northern Mindanao (CAFFINORMIN), discusses opportunities in agribusiness and food industries at the Northern Mindanao Agribusiness Investment and Marketing Forum, which was jointly organized by the Department of Agriculture, Department of Trade and Industry, the National Economic and Development Authority, Regional Development Council and USAID’s Growth with Equity in Mindanao (GEM) Program. The forum, a side event of the 2009 International Food Exhibit (IFEX) at the Mall of Asia, drew more than 100 participants, mostly food buyers and prospective investors from the Philippines and neighboring Asian countries.
