Butuan - On May 31, 2009 around 10:10 PM at P-1 Brgy Mahay, Butuan City a concerned citizen reported to Butuan City Police Office that a dead body of a certain Arjay Rabanal y Montilla, 23 YO, single & a resident of P-1 Brgy Mahay, Butuan City who was reported missing since early morning of May 30 was found dead 1OO meters away from the house of his relative.
Victim’s body bared wounds and in the early stage of decomposition.
Initial investigation disclosed that last Saturday, the victim together with his cousins namely Marven Montilla and Marwen Lague and several others friends went to P-7 of Brgy Buhangin to attend the Disco Fiesta Celebration.
At 2 o’clock early dawn, the group of Arjay Rabanal decided to go home and when they reached at the makeshift bridge of P-1 going to Brgy Mahay proper, another group of teenagers blocked their way then commotion ensued so Rabanal’s group scampered to different directions.
On the morning of May 30, 2009, parent of the victim went looking for him but failed to find him.
Crime scene was processed by the SOCO team led by Police Senior Inspector Joseph Esber.
Remains of the victim were brought to Raniel Funeral Parlor for autopsy.
