Hagimit Falls: Island Garden City of Samal

THE Island Garden City of Samal (Igacos) is currently on extensive preparations for the 'repackaging' of Hagimit falls.

Administrator Cleto Gales, Jr., in an interview last week, said they expect the influx of tourist once the 'retouching' of the falls is completed.

Luck can sometimes be on my side. The day before our flight from Zamboanga to Bongao Island, the sky was dark and overcast. This spelt misfortune for my sun-dependent camera. Yet on this day, in the one hour plane ride, the sun opened its splendor, allowing full saturation of the sights that are the islands of Tawi-Tawi.
